100% INDEPENDENT
| OWNER-OPERATED
In a retail climate flooded with corporate coffee chains trying to look
independent, and independent coffee shops looking and acting like they're
corporate chains, we at Scribbles are an anomaly--we just want to be who
we are.
Originally opened in 2002, our goal was simple--to provide a comfortable
place for people to hang out with a good book and a great cup of coffee.
It's been almost five years since we first opened our doors back in Northern
Kentucky, but that simple goal hasn't changed one bit.
Our coffee is roasted in Cincinnati by
Laterza Coffee, because we feel it's important to shake hands with
your coffee provider--and it helps that Chuck roasts some of the best
beans we've ever tasted.
We're committed to buying fair trade coffees because, simply put, it's
the right thing to do. To learn more about the fair trade movement, please
visit Fair Trade
Certified.
Thanks for finding us and taking the time to learn about who we are. Scribbles
doesn't have an advertising budget because we think word of mouth is the
most reliable way to find places worth visiting--so tell a friend and
spread the love.
